Who we are and what we fix
We are a garage door repair service that comes to your home, built around the parts that lift the door: torsion and extension springs, lift cables, cable drums and bottom brackets. When one of those fails, the door cannot be used safely, and that is the call we are set up for.
Around the springs and cables we fix the rest of the door and the opener: rollers and hinges, bent track, off-track doors, opener repair and replacement, photo eyes, remotes and keypads, weather seals, locks and single sections. We also service one-piece tilt-up doors, hang new doors when a repair no longer makes sense, and work on HOA and multifamily garages.

How our pricing works
Every repair on this site has a posted starting price: one number for the part and the labor on a standard residential door. Sales tax is then charged at the Washington rate for your address, because state law taxes home repair labor as well as parts.
Before a visit, you hear which line fits your door and anything that could move it. At the door, any change, such as a heavier spring or a second worn part, gets your approval, with its price, before we carry on.
How a visit runs
A visit follows the same order every time, so you always know what comes next.
You describe it or send a photo
What you see and hear, or two photos sent by text, usually lets us name the failed part before we drive out.
We quote before booking
You get the likely repair, its posted starting price and anything about your door that could raise it, then pick an arrival window during our hours.
We confirm and repair
On site we check the cause against what you told us, show you the failed part, and replace it with one measured for your door rather than a generic fit.
We balance and test
The door is set to hold halfway on its own, the safety reversal and photo eyes are checked, and the old parts stay with you if you want them.
What a technician brings
A visit is equipped first for spring and cable work, with the tools to do it safely and the parts your call or photo pointed to.
- Winding bars sized to the winding cones, because a screwdriver can slip out of a loaded cone
- Gauges and a tape to read the wire, the inside diameter of the coil and its length, so a new spring matches the door rather than the old spring
- Clamps to hold the door in its track while the springs and cables are off
- The parts your call or photo pointed to, such as springs, lift cables, drums, rollers or photo eyes
- The tools to set opener travel and force, and to run the reversing test before we leave
Where we work
Our work runs from Vancouver across Clark County and north along I-5 to Castle Rock, all of it in Washington.
The pages below follow the four groups on the areas page: neighborhoods inside Vancouver city limits, unincorporated places such as Hazel Dell and Hockinson, the other cities from Camas to Woodland, and Cowlitz County from Kalama to Castle Rock.
A street between two listed places is part of the same area. Send your cross streets with your photos if you want to be sure before booking.

The rules we work by
These rules sit behind every job, and they are written down so you can hold us to them.
- Prices are posted before you call; each covers the part and the labor and marks where a repair starts, before sales tax.
- Any change from the quoted price is explained and agreed before the work goes ahead.
- You see the failed part, and you can keep it.
- We recommend a repair when a repair is right for the door, and a new door or opener only when the old one is done.
- Everything on this site is something we can back up, so you will find posted prices and plain facts here rather than ratings or slogans.
- When a spring breaks or a cable lets go, our advice on the phone never changes: keep the door still, the opener unplugged and people well away from it.
Want a price before anyone drives over?
Call and describe what the door is doing, or text a photo of the door and the spring above it. You hear the likely repair and where its price starts, then decide.
